About A.S. Board of Directors

SDSU Georgia’s A.S. Board of Directors (ASBOD) is modeled after its counterpart at SDSU home campus. The Board is comprised of 8 elected members: President, Vice President, and a program representative for each program (Chemistry/Biochemistry, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Construction Engineering). The Board also includes two appointed members: a Secretary, who is appointed by the members of the Board at their first meeting, and a Dean’s Office Designee, appointed by the Dean’s Office of SDSU Georgia.

The main purpose of the ASBOD is to govern the organization by overseeing broad policies and objectives and to ensure the values and goals of the organization are upheld.
