Professional Organizations
Professional organizations enrich student experiences by allowing SDSU Georgia students to engage with professionals in their desired fields. Membership gives students the opportunity to stay informed on current events and trends within their future professions, builds up their professional experience, and connects them to a global community of colleagues.
SDSU Georgia currently has student chapters of the American Chemical Society and the American Society of Civil Engineers. The students involved in these organizations gain valuable leadership and professional experience and play a critical role in spreading awareness of the importance of the STEM fields in Georgia by engaging with the public through events, workshops, and conferences.
