SDSU-G Advisory Board Meeting

On June 11, 2024, the SDSU-G Advisory Board Meeting was held, co-chaired by SDSU Interim Provost and Senior Vice President William Tong and SDSU Vice President Hala Madanat.

The meeting was conducted in a hybrid format, with some members participating remotely. The Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, delivered the welcoming remarks. He emphasized the importance of the partnership between SDSU and the Georgian government, which involves three major public universities in the country. He discussed the ABET and ACS internationally accredited programs and those on the ABET track, highlighting their positive impact on the Georgian economy and sharing his vision for future collaboration.

Advisory Board members and invited guests reaffirmed their commitment to the partnership, underscored its significance, and thanked the presenters for sharing valuable insights.
