Simon Nemsadze

Dr. Simon Nemsadze joined the SDSU Georgia faculty in 2014 as a professor of electrical engineering. Dr. Nemsadze is a 1975 graduate of the Power Engineering Faculty at Georgian Polytechnical Institute. In 1982, he completed a post graduate course in superconductive transformers at Moscow Power Engineering Institute. Dr. Nemsadze has more than 42 years of teaching experience and is the author of more than 50 scientific works; among them 14 inventions and patents. Since 2013, he has been the head of the Electrical Engineering and Electronics Department at Georgian Technical University.
