Dr. Shota Tsiskaridze contributes to the Georgia STEM programs at San Diego State University as a professor of Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Civil Engineering. He currently teaches the STAT 250 (Statistics) course. Previously, from 2020 to 2022, he taught courses including Algorithms and Their Analysis (CS560), Machine Learning (CS596), and Artificial Intelligence (CS550).
Since 2020, he has been working at the School of Business, Technology, and Education
at Ilia State University in Georgia. During this period, he has taught seven different
subjects and managed over 20 courses.

Additionally, Dr. Shota Tsiskaridze heads the Software Engineering master's program at
the technology school of Ilia State University from 2021. Under his supervision, six
master’s students have defended their theses, all achieving Excellence grades.
Dr. Shota Tsiskaridze completed his Ph.D. in Experimental Particle Physics (HEP) at
Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB). His was focused on Detector Physics and
ATLAS data analysis of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). In 2017, his Ph.D. thesis
received the Springer Theses Award and was published in the book series “Springer
Theses: Recognizing Outstanding PhD Research.”
