American Chemical Society

The American Chemical Society Georgian Student Chapter was founded by San Diego State University Georgia students and since then has greatly contributed towards popularizing chemistry in Georgia by organizing the first chemistry festival and hence, inspiring future generations to get more involved in science. Moreover, ACS Georgia holds a Chemistry Symposium, where chemists from different countries are invited to share their findings and experience, thus highlighting recent achievements in the field. Notably, our organization is the first international chapter of ACS in the Caucasus region, which is an important step toward being more integrated with scientifically advanced countries.
